January Update

Hectic days ! As you know we are in the middle of transitioning from Moscow to New York. I (Burke) am currently in Moscow making arrangements for our belongings to be shipped and wrapping up our affairs here. Phillip and I arrived here on the 8th. Phillip goes back to school in Tver this Sunday (in Russia, it is a public holiday from Jan. 1 - 10 for New Years and Orthodox Christmas, so they combined them but made Sunday, Jan. 11, a working day).

Lindsey and Merrick are on their way to visit friends in Minnesota and will be there until the 20th or so and then drive back to Dallas. I fly from Moscow to NY on January 16th. Lindsey and Merrick will fly up to NY some time after the 20th.

Taylor is living with her dad and going to school for the semester in Minnesota. This is because we don't have a place to live yet in NY. We'll be staying in an apartment that the firm keeps. It is in mid-town (W. 56th between Lexington and 3rd) near our old office. It is small but should get us by until we find somewhere--looking mostly in Westchester area and Conneticut. My firm's new offices are at One Bryant Park, not far from Times Square.

We had a nice Christmas with family in Dallas. Lindsey and I then went with Tiffany and Zach (freinds) for a few days in Whistler, Canada, for some skiing/boarding and dog sledding. Lindsey and I also spent a day/night in Vancouver.
