Dog Sledding

A couple shots from our dog sledding while in Whistler; more pics later when I get them on my mac.....

This was a fun experience. The musher has to help a lot, especially going up hill. The dogs look back at you every now and then to make sure you are helping. So it was great exercise. One of the downsides is being down wind of the dogs' gastronomical occurrences ! That was a surprise. The dogs were great and man, do they like to run ! When we had to stop you really had to keep the brake on to prevent them from taking off. The run was not too long and next time I hope we can find one that takes you out for longer and over more terrain. A couple from Holland was talking about tours in Norway where you go out for 4 days and camp at night; sounds pretty cool.
