New Addition to the Family!

On or around May 6th, 2010 there will be a new little McDavid! We had been trying to get pregnant all year (since we moved back from Russia) and this little baby decided that the week after we moved back to Texas in August it would make itself known. I was slightly shocked at first. After so many months of trying, I was thinking that it just might not happen again, and especially after this move started, all things were on hold. The timing seems to have worked out great. I would have much rather dealt with this move newly pregnant rather than 8 months along and ready to burst. I also now will not have to be pregnant in the summer, and in Texas, that is a BIG deal! The kids will still be in school for another month, and we will have some quiet time before everyone is home all summer. Burke and I couldn't be more excited. Taylor is, however, only excited if it is a girl :) There are a lot of people in the McDavid family keeping their fingers crossed for a girl. We should find out around Christmas what we are having. The photo below is from a 7 week check up, and I am 10 weeks today. Of course, with a third child, I already look 5 months pregnant. I am a little worried how big I will be in the end!
